Coaching for
Sensitive, Gifted, & Creative Adults
Highly Sensitive (HSP) & Gifted Adults
Being different and feeling like an outsider doesn’t limit itself to childhood experiences. It can grow into adulthood and permeate into different parts of our lives.
Heightened sensitivities to specific stimulation can overwhelm individuals. (inside-out socks, aversions to smells, sounds, tags on clothing, etc.) This overwhelm can affect daily life and interpersonal relationships.
Insatiable needs to learn and acquire experiences or information may cause conflict with creating purpose or following through on “adult” responsibilities, including finished schoolwork and maintaining jobs.
There may be continued asynchronous development where we are seen as both old souls and childlike in our presentations. The subjects we are interested in or larger themes we champion may inspire others to live for more. At the same time, we may act childlike or have intense emotional moments that seemingly negate the labels others give us for being gifted or deep.
Endless projects and ideas are a gift and a curse. It may be a lifelong struggle to focus and decide. Perfectionism layered with multiple potentials can also lead to stagnation and additional overwhelm.
Loved ones may have a difficult time understanding or accepting those who live differently. This can lead to conflict or arguments with how to live “correctly”. Many times we mask or play roles to please others where it can cause internal turmoil against one’s authenticity.
There is nothing wrong with you or being different. Let’s work together to identify your strengths so you can be the hero of your story.
Coaching offers:

Goal identification and motivational interviewing to increase positive mindsets to pursue change and work through obstacles. Breaking down steps into manageable, achievable steps to build confidence to continue personal development.
Discussions on creative exploration to help focus and build on growth and change.
Honoring your inner child through creative expressions, play, and conversation.
Dialogues with someone who gets feeling like a perpetual alien, wanting to pursue authenticity in a world that does not nurture it. Connection & authenticity.
