Life Coaching Supplement
Growing across the lifespan is hard work! We need resources and visuals to see what the process looks like. Here are some printables to try with your coach, therapist, or other trusted person.
Many people have heard of the term “anger iceberg”. This is similar to many others, and can be used as a way to tap into deeper emotional states. This is part of personal development, strengthening relationships, knowing yourself better, and increasing perspective.
Visuals can help us learn and remember that we are complex beings. Even when it is just anger, we can pause to see what could be happening underneath. We can do this for ourselves and loved ones.
This blank version of the anger iceberg can be used in specific situations to help journal what might be happening underneath. If working through anger is new, it is recommended to try it with a therapist. It’s also great to create your own healing communities and have group meetings where you try these activities together. It can strengthen bonds and help you practice seeing how other people deal with anger, too.
*Note: if it is complex, and related to trauma that needs support, please reach out to a trauma professional.

A life wheel can help you visualize where you spent your energy and time in different areas of life. Take your time to be honest and think about how you currently use your time, and how you WANT to use your time. This can help with goal setting, time management, and seeing the bigger picture. Everything we do adds up!
The neat thing to try is doing it as a student vs seeing how an adult would prioritize time/energy. Our goals change, and how we use our time changes, too! Each stage of life has a different picture of how we spend our time.
This is the second page of the life wheel activity. It can help you list some activities and identify the categories they belong to so you can better see how your life wheel looks right now.
