Details: This is a 6-week group series dedicated to supporting the geek community. Here you’ll share about your fandoms and learn about your inner hero, the balance of the forces at play, who you want to be, and try on some new roles for size.
Dates & Times June 30th, July 7th, July 14, July 21, July 28th, August 4th
Wednesdays at 6pm PST
Cost (Pay What You Can: $20 - $60) for all 6 groups!
Age Range young adults 18-24

Boonie Sripom, MA
Therapy-informed Life Coach
Boonie Sripom is a therapy-informed life coach. Her work focuses on coaching using archetypes and understanding the cognition of the differently wired, specifically highly sensitive, creative, and gamer folks. She believes knowledge, guidance, and compassion lead to insights, individual acceptance, and empowerment to change. Her favorite games are Age of Empires, World of Warcraft, and Minecraft. She is currently playing Fortnite, Animal Crossing, and Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Batman is her hero, and she loves Sebastian Michaelis (Black Butler). Her favorite anime is Naruto and she doesn’t care how many people hate Sakura. Sakura is awesome.

Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist
Jamila Mahfudh is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in San Diego, California. She is a therapist who specializes in working alongside teens, young adults, and the young at heart in leveling up their strengths and reaching their ideas of wellness. She is passionate about helping those who feel overlooked, misunderstood or who have difficulty trusting helping professionals have a place to be heard, seen, understood and validated so they have the foundation to reach new heights. Some of her favorite games are Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Pokemon, Animal Crossing, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney and GRIS. Other geeky favorites are Star Trek, DC, Nightwing, Teen Titans, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Naruto and Samurai Champloo.
